We have an immediate opportunity for a dynamic, hardworking career level Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence (A/AI) Machine Learning (ML) Engineer who wants to join our mission.

As an A/AI Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

• Engage with technical users to identify opportunities to drive use cases for AI/ML
• Create innovative solutions to complex analysis requirements
• Develop machine learning models and apply these to various flight test and ground test data
• Plan, conduct, develop, and operationalize machine learning models on datasets that include time-series, text, etc.
• Conduct statistical analysis, set up experiments, formulate hypothesis and evaluate statistical significance to identify meaningful insights, communicate findings and provide recommendations
• Maintain awareness of emerging analytics technologies
• Craft whitepapers, research papers, follow industry trends in Machine learning and AI to integrate solutions

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated Python development experience

• Experience with agentic and/or generative AI

• Strong working knowledge of basic statistical concepts

• Ability to implement algorithms into software to train systems to recognize patterns and perform specific functions

• Secret clearance required to start Desired Skills:

• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn

• Experience automating the training, testing, and deployment of machine learning models

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
