Job description
We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, train, and evaluate novel deep learning models for real-time computer vision applications
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to prototype and customer deployment
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software
- Review code and design
- Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
- Assist in integrating and validating new product designs
- Support software QA and optimize performance
- Interface with hardware design and development
- Assess third party and open-source software
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, with dedicated coursework in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision
- 9 years practical experience in developing, optimizing performance and implementing predictive machine learning models within computer vision and video analytics domains
- Practical experience implementing CV ML models using deep learning inference engines such as OpenCV, TensorRT, TensorFlow/Keras/TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch, OpenVINO, and/or Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK
- Experience programming for real-time applications is highly desired
- Experience coding in C/C & Python and developing on Linux
- Experience working with Robot Operating System (ROS or ROS2)
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as GITLAB, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is
$146,500 - $224,500 per year.
