Job description

The Systems Engineer provides technical expertise as it applies to server and systems hardware, operating systems, and general data center operations. Provides long-term systems solutions to the company's needs as well as maintaining reliability service level standards as outlined by IT management., The essential functions below are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned to this position if such duties reasonably relate to the position.

  • Consistently designs, developments, documents, analyzes, creates, tests, or modifies computer systems or applications, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications. Resolves program and issues with availability, network datavoice, systems performance, redundancy, failover, data backups, data replications, extracts, and disaster recovery. Continually demonstrates the ability to identify opportunities for improvement to IT Services that at value to the consumers of IT services.
  • Practices self-development, while promoting the development of others by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement to IT Services. Building cross-functional relationships with technologyapplication teams, clinicians, and business stakeholders. Consistently demonstrating a level of effective communication aligned with the core values of the organization. Maintaining working relationships with internal and external users to ensure we are meeting service levels, providing technology consulting, and design of IT Services that enable the success of the business.
  • Provide influence through technology explanation aligned with clinical and business objectives. Adapting to a changing environment, incorporating the feedback of others, creating and executing plans that capitalize on strengths, while developing the capabilities of self and others.
  • Engage in technology projects, architecture, and support exercising innovative and independent judgment related to enterprise infrastructureapplications. Working to ensure successful deployment and operations by developing and documenting detailed standards (e.g., guidelines, processes, procedures) for the introduction and maintenance of services.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the configurationmanagement of systemsnetwork infrastructure.

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in desktop, virtualization, storage, and server technology design, implementation, and transition to an IT Service.
  • Consistently demonstrate a level of effective writtenverbal communication aligned with the core values of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external users to meetexceed service levels.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize deliverables.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and/or equivalent experience and training., * Certification in ITILv3
  • Certification in Microsoft Technologies, Virtualization, Cloud (AWS or Azure), or Cisco Networking
  • Understanding of IT security principles HIPAA, SOX, NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA
  • Healthcare IT experience
