Job description
The Ecommerce Channel Specialist will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing and growing our brand's ecommerce channels. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing product listings, catalog content, and digital merchandising across Shopify, Amazon, and other ecommerce channels, with a strong focus on improving listing health, conversion, and sales growth. The position also partners closely with marketing to develop polished, high-converting promotional content, website updates, and digital assets that strengthen the customer experience and drive sales., * Manage and optimize product listings across and marketplace channels, including product titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, keywords, variations, and other content that impacts search visibility, conversion, and customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to drive sales growth by analyzing listing performance, customer behavior, and marketplace trends, and implement initiatives that improve visibility, conversion, and revenue.
- Manage Amazon listing content and catalog quality, including keyword optimization, A+ Content updates, troubleshooting listing issues, and maintaining accurate product detail pages.
- Analyze data using tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify reports, Amazon platform reporting, and other channel-specific analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and support business decisions.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, listings, and content to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and work with internal teams to resolve listing issues quickly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and LTV through a variety of organic and paid media strategies and initiatives. Implement SEO/GEO/AEO optimizations and PDP updates to improve traffic and conversions.
- Research and implement new ecommerce initiatives, channel opportunities, and category trends that strengthen brand presence and support continued sales growth.
- Create reports and data visualizations that clearly communicate business needs, performance insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other cross-functional partners to develop meaningful, high-impact content that enhances brand presentation and strengthens product listings across channels.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder engagement?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundational understanding of ecommerce and marketing, along with hands-on experience managing digital storefronts and marketplace content. Shopify experience is strongly preferred, though experience on other e-commerce platforms is acceptable. Experience using Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central is required. Candidates should also have working knowledge of web design principles, with coding familiarity preferred, and be comfortable using data and reporting to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for growth. This individual should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, passionate about marketing, and excited to work on multi-stage projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional departments., * 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in related field OR commensurate experience
- Proficient in MS Office. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required, including working with formulas, pivot tables, charts, and large datasets to support performance analysis and reporting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central is required, including product listing management, catalog maintenance, content optimization, and performance reporting. Knowledge of additional ecommerce channels such as Walmart, Home Depot, Overstock, and Target considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, and email marketing; experience with email marketing platforms is required, and Klaviyo experience is preferred.
- Highly motivated, organized, and dependable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on assignments and manage multi-stage projects involving multiple stakeholders and departments.
- Analytical, data-focused, and results driven, with the ability to take ownership of projects, interpret performance metrics, and use insights to improve outcomes.
We'd love to see:
- Experience with graphic design and photo editing for ecommerce listings and marketing assets, including creating product images, graphics, and other visual content; experience with Canva and Adobe products such as Photoshop is preferred.
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, and digital merchandising best practices is preferred.
- Experience with web design and basic coding is preferred, particularly as it relates to ecommerce site maintenance, content updates, and user experience improvements.
- Experience using AI-powered tools to support ecommerce, content creation, design, or workflow efficiency is preferred.
- Experience with Amazon content and analytics tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar marketplace platforms is preferred.
