Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Deskside Technician to join our technology support team. In this role, you will be the frontline hero responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users across our organization. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems, empowering our teams to work efficiently and securely. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex IT challenges with enthusiasm, this opportunity is perfect for you!, * Provide hands-on desktop support for Windows, macOS operating systems, ensuring quick resolution of hardware and software issues.

  • VIP / Whiteglobe Users support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to Microsoft Office, VPNs, firewalls, and other enterprise applications.
  • Manage computer hardware assets, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support network infrastructure by assisting with LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP configurations, DNS management, and network security protocols such as firewalls and Meraki devices.
  • Utilize tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), Active Directory, ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy for ticketing, deployment, and system management tasks.
  • Assist with IT infrastructure maintenance including Windows Server environments and network administration duties.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users to provide clear guidance on technical issues while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer communication?, * Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles within a corporate or enterprise environment.

  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux distributions.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting computer hardware components and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices.
  • Experience working with enterprise tools like SCCM for software deployment and updates; Active Directory for user management; GPO for policy enforcement; ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing; BMC Remedy for incident tracking.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues quickly using strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
