Job description
The Giving Implementation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring successful deployment of our charitable giving and tithing solutions for clients. This position bridges the gap between technical capabilities and client needs, working closely with churches, parishes, dioceses, and nonprofits to implement and optimize their giving programs.
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new clients, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and launch
- Configure donation forms, recurring giving programs, and donor management systems according to client specifications
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery while managing client expectations
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering) to resolve technical issues and enhance platform functionality
- Provide technical consultation to clients on best practices for charitable giving programs
- Create and maintain documentation for client implementations and internal processes
- Train clients on platform usage and provide ongoing technical support during the implementation phase
- Ensure client ramps to expected volumes within expected timeframes
Requirements
Do you have a valid Certified Project Manager certification?, Do you have experience in Customer communication?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, customer success, or a similar client-facing role
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple implementations simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with payment processing systems and financial transactions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations or charitable giving programs
- Knowledge of payment processing regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with API integrations and webhook configurations
- Experience with CRM platforms and donor management systems
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) a plus
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in standard business software (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com or similar)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with REST APIs and integration concepts
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
