Migration and Storage Engineer (Senior)

The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise data storage systems, with a primary focus on Everpure Data FlashArray platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the mission data storage infrastructure that directly supports the end customer's operational objectives.

The Data Storage Engineer will operate in a collaborative environment alongside civilian and contractor personnel, serving as a trusted technical resource for storage-related requirements. The engineer will also maintain productive working relationships with the Everpure Account Team, Everpure Technical Support, and Everpure Professional Services to ensure the ongoing health, reliability, and modernization of the storage environment.

Do you have experience in VMware?, We are seeking two experienced Data Storage Engineers to join our team supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Omaha, Nebraska. This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance. (Please do not apply without a clearance)

We are looking for someone with Strong Migrations experience - folks who have done a large takeout, have won hearts and minds over for the new technology (meaning they can handle the internal politics of pushing back on the new product line, and driving success with product and internal teams.)

Skillsets required: Extensive Storage and Data Migration experience; Isilon, NetApp, Linux/Unix, VMWare, and experience supporting database migrations for Oracle Dbas

Preferred Skills: Extensive Storage and migration experience with Dell EMC Isilon, HPE, NetAPP , PURE similar storage systems.

• Ability to obtain Everpure Data certifications (e.g., Everpure Certified Associate, Everpure Certified Professional) preferred but not immediately required.
• Additional storage vendor certifications (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp NCDA/NCSA, HPE).
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Storage+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 compliant certifications., * Managing enterprise storage (Dell, NetApp, Pure, HPE): 5 years (Required)
