Job description

As an E-Drive System Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, coordinating and resolving complex technical challenges across electrified driveline systems. You will collaborate with specialists in software, electronics, mechanics and validation to guarantee product quality throughout the entire lifecycle., Supporting serial-life engineering and continuous improvement activities for electrified drive systems. Leading and coordinating root-cause investigations for field issues, warranty claims and manufacturing-related concerns. Analyzing system behavior using vehicle and test bench data, including: CAN and LIN communication traces Electric motor and inverter performance Torque, speed, current and efficiency measurements Control strategy and calibration behavior Coordinating technical investigations across multidisciplinary teams, including: Mechanical Engineering Electric Machine Engineering Power Electronics Embedded Software & Calibration Functional Safety Validation & Testing Simulation & Modelling Supporting requirement management, traceability and compliance activities. Driving structured problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA and Six Sigma. Ensuring alignment between product requirements, system performance and operational constraints.

Your Expertise

You are a system thinker with a strong technical foundation in electrified powertrain technologies and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Simulink?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive, electrification or advanced mechatronic systems. Proven experience in system engineering within complex multidisciplinary environments.

Strong understanding of: Electric propulsion systems Power electronics Embedded control systems System integration and validation Experience with technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex measurement data. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English.

Technical Skills

Experience with the following tools and methodologies is considered a strong asset:

Polarion, DOORS or comparable requirements management tools. Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape or similar diagnostic environments. MATLAB/Simulink and data analysis platforms. FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies. Functional Safety principles and ISO 26262 awareness.
