Job description
We are looking for a pragmatic, proactive Product Owner with at least 4 years of experience who can move work forward independently while maintaining the right communication and stakeholder check-in structure. You will report to the Head of Product and work closely with your own platform's engineering team of 4-6 software engineers., * Collect input, feedback, and insights from management, Stream Owners, product experts, clients, hoteliers, operations, commercial teams, and engineering.
- Reflect on past releases, team workflows, and product outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Organize and prioritize inputs into a clear backlog, focusing on the most impactful work for the Hotels Platform.
- Refine and clarify product problems, ensuring clear outcomes are set before moving into delivery.
- Work closely with stakeholders to collect and define product requirements across booking management, finance and reporting, hoteliers, and connectivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to validate solutions that meet clients, operational, technical, and commercial needs.
- Refine solutions to ensure they are ready for development, with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a well-organized backlog so the engineering team remains focused on high-priority work.
- Unblock developers by providing necessary business input, stakeholder context, and product decisions.
- Communicate product progress regularly to stakeholders and management, including priorities, risks, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Manage the successful launch of product features and ensure continued implementation, adoption, and support post-launch.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scalability?, * At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product role.
- Experience as a Product Owner across at least 2-3 different applications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders, operational experts, commercial teams, clients, suppliers, and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex business and technical topics into clear decisions and actions.
- Experience with travel, airline, crew travel, hotel accommodation, automation, AI, data analytics, SQL, finance, reporting, or integrations is a strong plus.
- Experience with service-oriented, travel, logistics, operations, marketplace, or workflow-heavy platforms.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands based on client value, revenue impact, margin, scalability, risk, and operational cost-to-serve.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, discovery, backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery support.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset and a focus on delivering measurable value.
