Job description

As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will be involved in helping to develop early lifecycle concepts within FCAS. Contributing to the development of the next generation of fighter aircraft. You will be developing and evolving the technologies that will defend the UK for generations to come and supporting our customers around the globe.

Core duties:

  • Leading or supporting technical studies to inform system requirements, architecture, concepts
  • Supporting assessment of system concepts e.g., technical viability, adaptability, interoperability
  • Attending/leading meetings and workshops to progress studies
  • Contributing your expertise to understanding of risks, assumptions dependencies
  • Attending planning and coordination meetings and reporting on your work

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Experience in systems engineering techniques and approaches such as Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets

  • Ideally you would have integration experience of a complex engineering product using structured toolsets, e.g CAMEO Toolsets
  • Can work effectively in teams but is also able to be self-starting and pro-active
  • Good ability to forge partnerships with internal and external customers
