Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially-minded marketer who enjoys, Content & Copywriting
- Create customer-focused copy across product pages, category pages, blogs,
- buying guides, landing pages, email campaigns and promotional content.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to develop, refine and maintain a distinctive brand tone of voice.
- Help shape how the brand communicates with customers across the website, email, social media and other marketing channels.
- Produce engaging, sales-driven content that aligns with our brand guidelines ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency across all channels.
- Play a significant part in introducing video content to our site and socials.
SEO & Organic Growth
- Work closely with our SEO consultant to deliver content strategies that support organic growth.
- Research keywords, search trends and customer intent to identify content opportunities.
- Create and optimise content based on SEO recommendations, performance insights and customer search intent to attract new customers and strengthen category authority.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to improve rankings, traffic and visibility.
- Support new product launches with optimised content and merchandising updates.
Email & Social Media
- Create content for email marketing campaigns, newsletters and customer communications.
- Develop engaging content for social media channels that supports brand awareness, engagement and website traffic.
- Assist with content planning and campaign calendars throughout the year.
- Help identify new content formats and opportunities to engage customers across digital channels.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor content performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and other reporting tools.
- Report on key SEO and content metrics.
- Use performance data and customer insights to refine content strategies and identify future opportunities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Social media management?, Essential
- Experience within B2C e-commerce.
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation.
- Ability to write for different audiences and stages of the customer journey.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how content contributes to e-commerce performance.
- Experience creating email marketing campaigns and social media content.
Desirable
- Experience in interiors, home improvement or flooring sectors.
- Experience using CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
