Benefact Group are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Gloucester office. The Infrastructure Team are responsible for the continued operation of the Benefact Group computer systems and converged voice, video and data networks. This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure. A 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn, is essential to providing technical resource and knowledge across a wide range of technologies and platforms. You will be responsible for undertaking proactive and reactive monitoring of the Infrastructure, Platforms and Applications, providing timely prevention or resolution of incidents, and appropriate escalation for major issues. What you'll be doing
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing and prioritising workload, ensuring incidents, requests, and changes are handled and documented correctly.
- Provide expert guidance to users, influencing across the organisation and applying knowledge creatively to non-standard situations.
- Maintain and support physical and virtual infrastructure, including hardware, data centres, communication rooms, and coordination with third-party vendors.
- Contribute to business continuity activities, prepare and maintain operational documentation, and participate in the 24/7 infrastructure support rota.

Requirements
Do you have experience in VoIP?, * Qualified or working toward qualification in Microsoft core technologies, with proven IT experience in fast-paced environments.
- Broad infrastructure knowledge with skills in areas such as networking, VMware ESX, VoIP, Windows Server, SAN, security, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS.
- Experience using monitoring toolsets and working with tier-1 hardware platforms like Cisco UCS and HP servers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, suppliers, and customers.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to build productive, collaborative relationships.
