Job description

We are seeking a Cloud Administrator to support and optimize our production cloud environments across leading platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). In this role, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of critical cloud services while collaborating closely with engineering and application teams.

This position is ideal for a cloud professional who enjoys hands-on administration, automation, and problem-solving, and who is looking to expand cloud engineering or architecture responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Cloud Operations & Infrastructure

  • Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Deploy and support cloud-based applications and environments used by business-critical systems.
  • Participate in infrastructure changes and upgrades following established change-management processes.

Monitoring, Performance & Cost Optimization

  • Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and utilization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and optimize cloud costs.
  • Troubleshoot service disruptions and participate in root cause analysis.

Backup, Recovery & Reliability

  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Ensure high availability and data integrity across cloud environments.

Security & Compliance

  • Enforce cloud security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and secure networking.
  • Support compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
  • Design a disaster recovery strategy, and lead execution and testing

Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and enhance automation using scripting and infrastructure tools to reduce manual operations.
  • Continuously improve operational processes and reliability through automation and standardization.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain clear documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Produce operational reports related to performance, usage, security, and availability.
  • Translate business requirements into cloud architecture, and provide justification, * Growth opportunities: Clear path to senior cloud engineering or architecture roles.
  • Modern cloud stack: Hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale, multi-cloud environments.
  • Stability & reliability focus: Strong operational discipline and continuous improvement culture.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud administration, systems administration, or related IT roles.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, OCI, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and operational best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, AWS Administrator or Solutions Architect, OCI certifications).
  • Experience supporting regulated or mission-critical environments.
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools.
  • Experience with environment migration (e.g. from hosted to cloud), * Cloud Administration: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Azure: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Azure Certification (Preferred)
