We are seeking an experienced Linux / UNIX Systems Administrator to join our global infrastructure team.
-
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical enterprise systems across Linux and UNIX platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability in a globally distributed environment.
Responsibilities:
-
Administer, maintain, and support Linux (RHEL, SLES, OEL) and UNIX (Solaris) environments.

Perform system upgrades, patch management, and configuration management activities.

Monitor and optimize system performance, including performance tuning and capacity planning.
-
Troubleshoot complex system issues and conduct root cause analysis to ensure timely resolution.

Install, configure, and manage Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) and Veritas Volume Manager on Solaris and Linux platforms
-
Manage and support enterprise storage environments (EMC or equivalent storage solutions).
-
Configure and maintain TCP/IP networking, system tuning parameters, firewall environments, and network topology.
-
Install, configure, and support layered and enterprise applications.
-
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Perl and Shell scripting.
-
Adhere to ITSM processes including incident, change, and problem management.

Collaborate with global teams to ensure 24x7 operational support and service continuity.
Requirements
-
5-7+ years of hands-on experience in Linux and UNIX system administration.
-
Strong expertise in RHEL, SLES, OEL, and Solaris environments.

Proven experience with Veritas technologies (VCS & Volume Manager).

Solid understanding of enterprise storage systems (EMC or similar).
-
Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewall environments, and network topology.

Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.

Proficiency in Perl and Shell scripting for automation tasks.
-
Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and enterprise operational processes.

Education:
