Job description

  • Set up and install workstations, including computers and essential peripherals (routers, printers, etc.)
  • Test and verify that computer hardware (drives, mice, keyboards, etc.) is functioning properly
  • Install and configure software and features according to client needs
  • Build and maintain local networks that are optimized for performance and reliability
  • Ensure systems are secure and protect user privacy and data
  • Train and support users on new hardware and software
  • Schedule and perform system upgrades and maintenance with minimal disruption to users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues - whether it's hardware, software, or network related
  • Keep clear records of maintenance, fixes, and system updates
  • Track hardware and software inventory and help coordinate replacements or new purchases
  • Most importantly: be a trusted, responsive partner to our clients

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer communication?, We're on the hunt for an experienced IT Consultant who's passionate about helping people and businesses get the most out of their technology. In this role, you'll be installing and maintaining computer systems and networks to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely for our clients.

But it's not just about fixing things - training users and empowering them to use their tech confidently and safely is a big part of what we do.

To thrive here, you should have solid experience with hardware, software, networks, operating systems, and internet applications. Strong troubleshooting skills, patience, and attention to detail are must-haves., * Proven experience as an IT Technician, Consultant, and hands-on problem solver

  • Comfortable working with pfSense appliances
  • Hands-on experience with Unifi (Ubiquiti) gear (UDM, USG, WAPs, Switches)
  • Strong grasp of DNS and how it impacts both LAN and WAN environments
  • Experience administering Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure AD, Exchange, Endpoint Manager, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Familiarity with on-prem Microsoft domain environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, file/print sharing)
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - and a client-first mindset
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and a methodical approach to solving problems
  • Solid organizational skills and time management - you can juggle tasks and stay on track
  • Self-driven and able to work independently, making sound decisions based on research and experience, * IT Support: 7 years (Required)
