Job description

  • Apply systems engineering principles across all lifecycle phases including concept, development, production, operations, maintenance, support, and retirement

  • Support stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, architectural design, integration, verification, validation, transition, and sustainment activities

  • Assist with project planning, risk management, configuration management, information management, and project assessments

  • Coordinate with Government representatives, program personnel, and executive leadership on technical engineering issues and solutions

  • Support acquisition and supply process activities

  • Assist in developing innovative engineering and technical solutions

  • Analyze and recommend engineering standards and process improvements Supervise and coordinate contractor engineers and technical staff supporting project execution

Requirements

  • Active Polygraph clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience OR a High School Diploma/GED plus fourteen (14) years of systems engineering experience OR a Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience OR a PhD in Engineering or related technical field plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience

  • Systems engineering lifecycle expertise

  • Requirements analysis and architectural design

  • Risk management and configuration management

  • Technical planning and systems integration

  • Process improvement and engineering standards development

  • Strong technical communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale DoD/IC environments

  • Technical leadership or supervisory experience

  • Experience supporting ISO/IEC 15288 engineering process areas

  • Familiarity with acquisition and supply management activities
