Design and define system architecture for VDI environments hosted on vSphere
Collaborate across technical teams to troubleshoot challenges and drive mission outcomes
Manage and optimize thin client environments using endpoint management tools (e.g., Wyse Management)
Implement and maintain VDI monitoring, performance tuning, and automation solutions
Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and apply best practices for secure system configurations, Systems Engineer, VDI Engineer, Omnissa Horizon, VMware vSphere, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, TS/SCI jobs, Security+ certification, DISA STIG compliance, PowerShell automation, HashiCorp Packer, Wyse Management, Thin Client Management, Stratusphere, Liquidware, VDI monitoring, Government IT jobs, Newington VA tech jobs, cleared cybersecurity roles

8+ years of experience with VDI technologies, specifically Omnissa Horizon hosted on vSphere
Experience with thin client management tools, VDI monitoring solutions (Liquidware, Stratusphere), and profile management
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell) and experience with image-as-code tools (HashiCorp, Packer)
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Active TS/SCI clearance and Security+ certification required

Salary Range: $175,000 dependent on experience
