Job description
- AWS Glue is a data integration service which simplifies preparing the data from multiple sources. Technically AWS Glue uses Spark engine underneath.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spring Boot?, * Core skill is Programming language (Java and/or Python and/or Scala) + Apache Spark + Database (SQL/NoSQL).
- People exposed to cloud would know AWS Glue or equivalent in other clouds in they call themselves Data Engineer.
- Usually, a person who has experience with Apache Spark with Python or Java should be aware (if not experienced) of AWS Glue or can learn it very quickly.
- Minimum 5 years of strong server-side programming experience primarily in Java experience with Scala is an added advantage
- Handson expertise with Apache Spark for distributed data processing
- Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL databases with strong data analysis skills
- Understanding of Unix shell scripting for automation and support
Additional skills
- Python scripting microservices frameworks and event driven architectures
- Strong problem-solving communication and ability to work in agile cross functional teams
