- Provide on-site customer support and installations.
- Provide remote customer support.
- Perform duties including installation of ethernet wiring as needed.
- Software/Hardware troubleshooting.
- Interface with third-party software vendors with more complex issues.
- Answering customer questions and resolving issues.
- Perform ongoing analysis of local computing environment
- Makes recommendations for technology or process improvements.
- Update orders and assignments according to established procedures.
- Support and work in a multi-user and multi-client environment on different platforms
- PC and network maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2021 and Windows XP - Windows 11
- Virtualization & Backup Software including but not limited to VMWare & Veeam
Requirements

We are seeking a full-time IT Support Technician with 5 or more years of experience that is devoted to all aspects of help desk, troubleshooting, computer network, workstation, server, and auxiliary device support and maintenance. The IT Support Technician should be skilled to deal directly with the user, offering advice, training, solutions, and guidance. This role will work on-site at various customer locations as needed (about 3 days a week), as well as work from your home the remainder of the week. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. They will be highly attentive to detail, have strong communication and documentation skills, and have the ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks., * Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with a company that is a Managed Service Provider.
- Written communication skills are a must as all staff is responsible for a thorough documentation of services performed and client interactions
- Must have a strong commitment to providing quality customer service
- Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and professional at all times
- Must be a self-motivator with a desire to succeed.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to customer company sites for IT support.
- Must pass a criminal background check and a laboratory drug screen and provide a minimum of two professional references
