Applied Physical Sciences (APS) is seeking a motivated and skilled Information Systems Security Officer/Alternate Facility Security Officer to join our team in Concord, MA to begin an exciting and rewarding career. Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and process Risk Management Framework documentation to obtain Approval to Operate for systems through Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other agencies.
- Provide ISSO support for our Groton, CT and Concord, MA locations.
- Conduct secure computer maintenance and auditing functions.
- Review new secure computers in accordance with DISA and JSIG requirements and the Risk Management Framework process.
- Assist with directing System Administrators in maintenance responsibilities.
- Perform other security functions as necessary to meet mission requirements.

Requirements
- Based in Concord, MA with the expectation to travel to Groton, CT up to one day a week.
- Good knowledge of the DISA STIGS, NIST 800-171 and Risk Management Framework.
- Excellent communication skills
- Must possess a current Secret security clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, which typically requires US citizenship and a thorough background investigation., * Recent experience supporting Information Systems maintenance functions including auditing system access and usage.
- Familiarity with eMASS along with SCTM and Test Result Documentation.
- Familiarity with Compliance Checking and Vulnerability Scanning.
- DoD 8570 Technical Level II certification will be required within one year of start.
