IT System Engineer Manager (Entertainment) (CA/YM)

Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product and technical designs -Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems -Contribute to system engineering planning activities including backlog decomposition, estimating, and sequencing with product owners -Be a part of a small, focused team using Agile/Scrum/Waterfall to deliver work -Development of mobile responsive front-end web components using modern web technologies -Development of server-side components using a Microsoft technology stack -Development of data components and BI tool interfacing with other system components, and systems/services to reengineer tasks requested by other departments -Conduct project lead of system/application implementations and create tools to support engineering and operations process. -Partner with other IT teams including infrastructure and security to ensure applications are performant and secure -Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation -Conduct system quality assurance, propose system improvement, and conduct vendor and team management -Other duties as directed by upper management time to time

This position is responsible for responsible for system engineering, technical designs and work with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's in Software Engineering or related field, Japanese language, 7 years' experience in software development, 5 years' experience in project lead and/or management, understanding of Object-Oriented programming, proficient in Java Script (or VBA, SQL, Linux), proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel), Knowledge of design patterns and data structures, and experience in B2C business, experience using POS and ERP systems are required. This is a full time, exempt position with excellent benefits, including 401k., Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields) -The ability to speak, read, and write Japanese, -7 years' experience in software development, -5 years' experience in project lead and/or management -Understanding of Object-Oriented programming, -Proficient in Java Script (or VBA, SQL, Linux), -Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel), Knowledge of design patterns and data structures -Experience in B2C, using POS system, SKU product management, and ERP systems is required, * Are you proficient in Java Script (or VBA, SQL, Linux)?
