Senior Software Engineer - iOS, Autonomous Mobility & Delivery

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll help shape the AV rider journey end-to-end-from educational entry points and booking flows to real-time trip updates. What You Will Do

1. Lead iOS design and development of end-to-end AV rider experiences, including booking flows, on-trip interactions, and educational surfaces

2. Partner with PMs, designers, and backend leads to own product outcomes

3. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to broader technical strategy

1. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent

2. 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ in iOS development

3. Proficiency in platform-specific architecture patterns and frameworks (Swift/UIKit)

4. Understanding of user experience and performance optimization on mobile

5. Self-starter mindset and a bias for shipping impactful features

2. Experience shipping complex mobile features in production

3. Familiarity with metrics platforms (e.g., Experimentation, Analytics SDKs)

4. Prior involvement in developing new product paradigms or zero-to-one launches

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$202,000 per year - USD$224,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$202,000 per year - USD$224,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
