Job description

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Online Architect / Administrator to support a large-scale Microsoft 365 collaboration and intranet modernization initiative.

This role is ideal for a SharePoint professional who can operate both strategically and hands-on, helping design scalable collaboration environments, governance frameworks, and information architecture while partnering with business stakeholders across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document the current SharePoint Online environment
  • Design and implement enterprise SharePoint architecture and governance standards
  • Develop Hub Site and Team Site strategies aligned with organizational needs
  • Establish best practices for:
  • Site provisioning
  • Navigation
  • Metadata management
  • Permissions and security
  • Content lifecycle management
  • Data governance
  • Create a scalable intranet experience that supports communication and collaboration
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and site owners
  • Support migration, reorganization, and implementation activities
  • Develop documentation, standards, and operational procedures
  • Deliver training and enablement sessions for site owners and administrators

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, * 5+ years of hands-on SharePoint Online administration and architecture experience

  • Strong Microsoft 365 expertise
  • Experience designing and implementing:
  • SharePoint Hub Sites
  • Enterprise intranet environments
  • Information architecture frameworks
  • Governance and security models
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams integration
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions and access controls
  • Expertise in content organization, metadata strategy, and site lifecycle management
  • Experience driving user adoption and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft 365 certifications
  • Experience with compliance, records management, and data governance
  • Experience balancing centralized governance with decentralized site ownership
  • Familiarity with Power Platform solutions, including:
  • Power Automate
  • Power Apps
  • Power BI
