Job description
The New York State Automobile Dealers Association (NYSADA), located in downtown Albany, is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead, support and maintain our organization's technology systems and infrastructure. The IT Director will provide technical support, maintain hardware and software systems, assist with network administration, and help ensure the security and reliability of the organization's technology environment. The IT Director will also be responsible for developing and executing the company's technology strategy, overseeing IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, managing budgets and vendors, and serves as the critical role in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives while ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services., * Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy and technology roadmap.
- Oversee network, server, cloud, telecommunications, and enterprise application environments.
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment. and support software installations, upgrades, and system updates.
- Assist with data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts.
- Manage IT budgets, capital expenditures, and technology investments.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and governance standards.
- Monitor and maintain network, server, and cloud-based systems.
- Lead technology projects from planning through implementation.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all technology systems and data.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Maintain technology documentation, inventories, and procedures.
- Work with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Network management?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including management responsibilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, networking, and enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, technology projects, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience developing technology strategies that support business objectives.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
