Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and enterprise reports.
- Build and optimize SSIS ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Develop complex SQL and T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
- Support data migration and integration between legacy and modern systems.
- Design data models, data marts, schemas, and data dictionaries.
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, validation, and error handling processes.
- Optimize ETL and query performance for large datasets.
- Work across multiple database systems including SQL Server and DB2.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
- Participate in full SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Coordinate with system integrators to support knowledge transfer and continuity.
Requirements

10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Reporting.

5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience.

Strong expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL.

5+ years of experience with SSIS and/or SSRS (or Talend).

Strong experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

Experience with ETL design, development, and production support.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including:

Data marts

ETL pipelines

Data modeling

Experience with performance tuning and debugging data workflows.

Experience using version control systems such as Git or Team Foundation Server.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills., * Experience with Salesforce integrations.

Experience with MuleSoft or API integrations.

Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.

Experience supporting legacy system modernization initiatives.
Work Environment
- Hybrid role with periodic onsite work required in Hartford, CT.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week.
- Must attend at least one in-person interview.
