API Inspector

The API Inspector provides advanced technical oversight and ensures consistent application of visual inspection standards. They review and approve inspection procedures, interpret complex specifications, and make accept/reject decisions on critical components. Level III inspectors may serve as project leads, provide technical direction to lower-level inspectors, and liaise with engineering, quality, and client representatives. This role requires extensive experience, certification mastery, and strong knowledge of codes such as ASME, AWS, or API.

Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570 6+ years' experience or 4+ years on site experience Additional 653 and CWI preferred but not required In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers Willing to work at a nested site. Local to Brownsville, TX or be willing to relocate (this is a full time nested role with 48 hour schedule) TWIC card preferred
