Job description

Northriver IT is seeking a Service Desk I. This position is responsible for basic computer networking and Microsoft 365 requests. Responsibilities include answering phones, documentation of processes, triage, and all other general service desk inquiries. Position will master skills of Professional Services Automation (PSA) known as ConnectWise (CW)

· This is a full-time position (40 hours/week)

· This position will report to the company Service Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Triage service ticket to determine urgency and appropriate next steps.
  • Troubleshoot technical severity of issue.
  • Become subject matter expert on all things Microsoft.
  • Maintain identity management for Customers.
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, predominantly for Microsoft clients.
  • Shipping and tracking logistics of equipment for our Customers and technicians.
  • Primary telephone contact for all inbound requests.
  • Identify and advise on technical concerns and deficiencies and look for areas of improvement.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Computer operation?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Two-year Associate Degree and/or

  • One year of experience with any of the following: Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, Network routing and switching Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Azure, or firewalls.
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
