Job description

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and innovative cloud engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role will support enterprise cloud infrastructure operations and requires broad experience in Linux system administration, AWS cloud technologies, automation, scripting, and enterprise security practices. The selected candidate will work closely with multiple enterprise teams supporting mission-critical digitization infrastructure and cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Linux and AWS cloud environments

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system and application issues

Support cloud infrastructure operations in a secure enterprise environment

Patch and maintain databases including RDS, MySQL, and Oracle

Configure and manage AWS cloud services and virtual infrastructure environments

Implement and support automation and configuration management solutions

Analyze logs, event files, and background processes to identify and resolve issues

Collaborate with enterprise teams on infrastructure operations and security initiatives

Support authentication, authorization, RBAC, and federated identity solutions

Maintain compliance with security and accreditation standards and procedures

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and infrastructure modernization efforts

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tooling?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience

Hands-on experience supporting AWS and Linux in a production environment

Experience administering and maintaining databases including: AWS RDS

MySQL

Oracle

Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills

Experience with federated identity, RBAC, authentication, and authorization solutions

Knowledge of secure cloud configurations and AWS security technologies including: CloudTrail

AWS Config

VPCs

Security Groups

IAM

Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as: Puppet

Chef

Ansible

CloudFormation

Experience supporting enterprise security technologies including: NGFW

WAF

SIEM

Endpoint security solutions

Experience using scripting languages for automation and administration

Demonstrated ability to independently monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise workflow applications

Experience creating and managing virtualized infrastructure environments including: AWS

Azure

VMware

Hyper-V

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment
