Director of Healthcare Information Management

Position Responsibilities

The Director of Health Information Management will provide leadership and oversight for:

• Health Information Management operations
• Medical record completion and integrity
• Coding quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Release of information and record retrieval
• Trauma registry oversight
• Physician suspension processes
• HIM regulatory compliance initiatives
• Department staffing, performance, and strategic planning
• Process improvement and operational efficiency efforts

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Health Information Science, or related field

• RHIT required
• RHIA highly preferred
• Five or more years of management or supervisory experience
• Five or more years of medical coding experience
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and HIM best practices
