TeamAg succeeds when our projects support farm operations that are easier to use and more cost effective for farming families, protect and conserve natural resources, and ensure that local agricultural landscapes are economically and environmentally viable for generations to come, We are currently seeking a Design Engineer to join our team of professionals based in Lancaster County, PA.
Primary Focus - Design Engineering:
- Agricultural Best Management Practices
- Erosion and Sedimentation (E&S) control plans and reports
- National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit applications, Stormwater Management plans, and stream encroachment permit applications
- Manure Storage Certifications and Water Quality Part II (WQPII) permit applications
Secondary Focus - Field Work:

Engineering surveys of selected projects using GPS survey equipment - New sites, construction stake-out, as-builts

Construction Inspections - Stormwater management structures, manure storage facilities, and best management practices

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Related Engineering (with interest in Ag)
- Applicants possessing a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license encouraged to apply
- Applicants with FE or engineering technical experience are also encouraged to apply
- Strong interest or background in working on farms
- Experience with hydraulics and structural design
- Experience with ACAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Able to carry equipment up to 25 lbs
- Valid driver's license and willingness to operate a 4-wheeler and/or fleet vehicle
- Interest and ability to work in a team environment
- Good communications skills (ability/willingness to use email, video conferencing, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
