Job description

Savvee Inc. is seeking a Junior Developer to support our federal client in a hybrid environment located in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will support development, maintenance, and debugging of application solutions for the client's platform under the guidance of senior technical staff. The candidate will contribute to system development activities by assisting in code implementation, testing, and troubleshooting while following established development standards and best practices. One will work closely with senior developers and the broader development team to support delivery of application functionality and ensure code quality before peer review., * Supporting development, maintenance, and enhancement of application components.

  • Assisting with debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
  • Writing and executing unit tests to validate application functionality.
  • Performing initial debugging to ensure code quality before peer review.
  • Collaborating with senior developers to implement technical solutions.
  • Assisting in development and integration of application features.
  • Supporting testing and validation of system functionality.
  • Following established coding standards and development best practices.
  • Contributing to technical documentation and code artifacts.
  • Participating in team development activities and support overall execution.
  • Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, * Two or more years of related IT experience

  • Two or more years of experience in application development, maintenance, and debugging
  • Experience supporting software development activities under the guidance of senior technical staff
  • Experience writing unit tests and performing initial debugging to ensure code quality before peer review
  • Required experience with the following technologies: Angular, C#, .NET, SQL, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, and Less
  • Ability to learn and apply development best practices and standards
  • Basic analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
  • Must have the ability to obtain the client's Public Trust clearance
  • Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A highly motivated selfstarter
  • Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills, * Experience working within Agile development environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise or webbased applications
  • Exposure to version control systems and development workflows
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and testing frameworks
