Job description
ESG has an exciting opportunity for an Integration Engineer to join our growing team. The Integration Engineer plays a key role in ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability across the organization. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and supporting integrations using technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, C#, and SOAP/REST APIs., * Develop, maintain, and enhance system integrations using Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and C#.
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Support and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Monitor integration jobs, identify failures, and resolve issues related to data flow, performance, and system connectivity.
- Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions aligned with business needs.
- Document integration processes, data mappings, workflows, and support procedures.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across connected systems.
- Provide technical support for integration related incidents and service requests.
- Recommend and implement improvements to integration architecture, automation, and monitoring.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stored procedures?, * Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing queries and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with C# for integration development and automation.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data structures, and workflow orchestration.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Education and Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in systems or application integration.
- Experience integrating with Workday via API calls is highly desired.
- Experience with Zenople is highly desired.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Key Vault, Logic Apps, Functions, and Storage.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps.
- Background in data warehousing or business intelligence.
- Knowledge of middleware tools such as ZappySys is a plus.
