Job description

Provide technical support and application guidance on analogue power management semiconductor products Support customers with design optimisation, troubleshooting and component selection Help customers improve efficiency, stability, thermal performance and overall circuit reliability Work closely with distributors, internal sales teams and global engineering colleagues Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions Contribute to application notes, reference designs and technical documentation Support wider business activities through customer feedback, market insight and application knowledge This Semiconductor Applications Engineer role is commutable from Loughborough, Leicester, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Hinckley, Burton upon Trent, Tamworth, Nottingham and surrounding areas. Requirements

Are you an Electronics Engineer with experience in analogue or power electronics who wants to move into a more customer-facing applications role, supporting engineers with real-world design challenges while building a long-term career within a global semiconductor business? Your background as a Semiconductor Applications Engineer: Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar Experience or exposure to analogue / power electronics such as DC/DC converters, LDOs, voltage regulation or power supply design Able to interpret schematics, datasheets, reference designs and evaluation boards Understanding of PCB layout principles and component selection Strong communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and colleagues Interest in a customer-facing role combining engineering, problem-solving and commercial awareness
