Job description
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands ecommerce, Shopify, and conversion-focused website management. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the customer experience, merchandising products effectively, supporting marketing campaigns, and ensuring the website is continually optimised to drive sales and growth., Product Management
- Set up new products and maintain existing product listings
- Optimise product content, imagery, specifications, metadata, and categorisation
- Ensure product information is accurate, compelling, and SEO-friendly
Merchandising & Category Management
- Manage category pages to maximise sales performance
- Promote best-selling, high-margin, and seasonal products
- Continuously review product positioning and customer journeys
Promotions & Campaign Management
- Create and update homepage banners, landing pages, and promotional content
- Implement seasonal campaigns, offers, and sales events
- Coordinate website updates with marketing activities
Search & Navigation Optimisation
- Manage site search merchandising
- Ensure the most relevant and profitable products appear for key customer searches
- Improve navigation and product discoverability
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
- Conduct A/B testing on key pages and customer journeys
- Improve product page layouts and content presentation
- Identify and reduce friction points throughout the checkout process
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements
Content Management
- Publish and update blog articles, educational content, FAQs, and guides
- Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to support content initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Shopify?, * Proven experience managing Shopify ecommerce websites preferably within the veterinary/human pharmacy industry
- Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising principles
- Experience with SEO, metadata optimisation, and content management
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation and website analytics
- Familiarity with Shopify apps, themes, and product management tools
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to analyse performance data and make commercially driven decisions
- Excellent written English and content editing skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and Microsoft Clarity
- Knowledge of ecommerce SEO and technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo
- Previous experience within healthcare, pharmacy, veterinary, or regulated industries
