Job description

You will work as part of Riverside's Responsive Repairs team within the Home Response service, providing high-quality administrative and data support to enable effective service delivery and informed decision-making

You will play a key role in ensuring performance information is accurately collected, maintained, monitored, and reported, supporting service improvement, compliance, and audit readiness, We're now looking for a Transactional Officer to join our team in Widnes to support by carrying out quality invoicing of either day-to-day repair and Void works for residential Group properties, ensuring all works are delivered to the required standards.

The role supports service delivery through effective data handling, reporting, audit support, and continuous improvement activity.

The postholder will be responsible for liaising with customers, colleagues, and external contractors to ensure property repair and maintenance works are efficiently planned, monitored, and completed in line with service standards.

The role will be office-based in Carlisle and will involve regular contact with customers via telephone and digital systems.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Invoicing is completed within set parameters using Nat Fed 6.2 Schedule of rates.
  • Assess all works completed to ensure full income recovery is regained on completion of invoicing using Nat Fed 6.2 Schedule of rates (Subcontractors and Direct Labour Workforces)
  • Assist with quotations from subcontractors assessing works required, raising works through the correct Mcode ensuring works are coded using the correct SOR rates as per Nat Fed 6.2
  • Requesting approval from Riverside Asset for works over agreed values ensuring works raised to the correct Mcode and SOR rates, ensuring all communications are logged
  • Ensure internal business processes are followed in line with Evolve's policy, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, including colleagues and customers, providing advice and support, and building constructive working relationships as appropriate.
  • Manage enquiries effectively, providing clear, supportive, and accurate advice or signposting as appropriate, escalating complaints and complex queries via the appropriate channels to ensure effective resolution.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, We are looking for someone with:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent team player who can work flexibly to meet business requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
