Job description
Are you someone who thrives at the intersection of complex enterprise architecture, modern cloud ecosystems, and AI-driven development? We are seeking a .NET Solutions Architect for a major client to spearhead the evolution of high-volume insurance and financial data platforms. In this role, you won't just write code; you will design the blueprints for scalable, distributed systems that process massive datasets and power seamless user experiences. You will champion modern design principles, lead critical technical migrations, and pioneer the integration of cutting-edge AI tools (like Claude Code) directly into our SDLC pipeline to fundamentally redefine how we build software. If you are a self-starter who loathes silos, loves systems thinking, and wants to leave a lasting architectural legacy, lets talk. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities) Architect Distributed Systems: Design and develop robust, service-based architectures and event-driven systems capable of handling complex integrations and heavy batch-processing workloads. Drive Tech Stack Evolution: Lead high-visibility technical redirections, including critical, high-volume frontend framework conversions (Angular-to-React), while modernizing our backend framework infrastructure. Embedded AI in the SDLC: Act as an organizational champion for AI-driven development, extensively leveraging advanced models like Claude to automate system design, testing, and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines. Enforce Architectural Governance: Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to decouple complex legacy logic into clean, domain-bound microservices. Establish rigorous coding standards and internal Pull Request (PR) gates. Collaborate & Influence: Act as a critical technical bridge, proactively collaborating with stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional engineering pods to eliminate technical debt and eliminate operational silos. Mentor and Grow the team: Be a mentor to the existing technical team, guide them through technical challenges and bring highest quality of technical deliverables, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee and interface with the developers to design, develop, test and implement critical functionality and POCs. - Work with clients to …

Requirements
Client Communication: Excellent Communication skills is a must. You will be the voice of the offshore based technical team and follow regular communication protocols with clients to ensure the team is delivering against the right expectations. Tasks At least 10+ years of professional software engineering and architectural design experience. Core Backend Mastery: Deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET Framework) and advanced SQL Server database design. Modern Frontend Literacy: Strong familiarity with modern JavaScript ecosystems, with practical knowledge of React and Angular transitions. Cloud & DevOps Prowess: Heavy hands-on experience with AWS services (or equivalent cloud environments) alongside a mastery of Jira and automated CI/CD pipelines. Azure cloud native experience is a plus. AI Tooling Fluidity: Advanced proficiency with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery velocity. Architectural Frameworks: Proven mastery of System Thinking, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and event-driven patterns. API/Microservices: The ideal candidate will have experience building APIs that interface with modern frontend technologies. Additionally this candidate will be familiar with building and supporting applications responsible for batch processing of large and complex data. Expert level with designing, building, deploying microservices architecture. Web Applications: Advanced expertise in .NET Core and MVC frameworks for developing scalable web applications with high performance, availability and highest security standards. Industry Domain Plus: Prior experience or domain knowledge within Health Insurance, Health Tech, Fintech, or complex billing/claims processing systems is a massive plus. Requirements Extreme Ownership & Autonomy: You operate with the mindset of an owner, never "waiting for instructions". You actively hunt for architectural gaps, anticipate technical debt, and proactively pull work without requiring close supervision. Radical Transparency & High Integrity: You believe in total clarity regarding engineering velocity and effort. You stand firm on maintaining high-quality modular standards and rigorous code reviews, even under tight deadlines. Silo Eradication & Intensive Communication: As an architect, your communication is your strongest tool. You excel at translating complex technical blueprints into business value for stakeholders, while ensuring constant, intensive collaboration across distributed and offshore engineering teams. Systems Thinking & Problem Solving: You possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. You naturally view problems through a macro-lens, evaluating how a localized change impacts the entire enterprise ecosystem. How You Will Work (Engineering Culture at the client) Autonomy over Instructions: We don't micromanage. We look for self-starters who actively spot technical gaps, pull work independently, and execute with absolute integrity. Radical Transparency: We believe in high execution integrity, extensive documentation, and transparent, intensive communication across our distributed teams. Critical Thinking First: You approach problems from a holistic systems perspective, assessing how local code changes impact the broader enterprise ecosystem.
