Job description
The Supervisor of Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) will be responsible for supporting SFUSD's guardrail of supporting the whole child, and Safe and Supportive Schools Resolution. The Supervisor will develop a comprehensive district wide strategy to manage the district's MTSS and sense of belonging initiatives. This includes but is not limited to:

Leading complex work requiring advanced knowledge of a specific professional discipline or operational area, including Multi Tiered Systems of Support and project implementation.

Select, train, supervise and evaluate administrative, certificated and classified employees

Leads one or more components/functions of work within the department/division

Lead a cross department work team to select and implement a new MTSS system district wide over multiyear Implementation for a new MTSS Data System

Manage and oversee MTSS Data System operations to ensure all schools have access to a MTSS Module, technical assistance in establishing and maintaining MTSS procedures and policies that reflect best practices

Manage district MTSS initiatives by coordinating with other district departments, school sites, Community Based Organizations and city agencies

Design and deliver ongoing training and professional development to clerks, paraprofessionals, site leaders, and other district staff/departments to support the MTSS program and sense of belonging guardrail

Co-lead SFSD's Coordinated Care Team (CCT) Approach to ensure that school CCTs have essential tools, strategies and resources to implement effective CCT plans

Partner with colleagues to work with school sites to support students and families within a MTSS framework. Possible services will be site consultation, connection to district-level resources and interventions, and short-term case management to support students.

Oversee and facilitate the use of data and data strategies towards continuous improvement

Oversee audit/reporting responsibilities

Collaborate with Supervisor of Attendance to support Guardrail 2: Attendance, Sense of Belonging and Disproportionality

Makes autonomous decisions related to scope and direction (e.g. resource allocation, staffing, etc.) in
addition to design and execution
- Sets the direction for a function and supports departmental management

Requirements
Do you have experience in Employee relationship building?, * Knowledge of San Francisco's public schools/urban public schools and a passionate belief in SFUSD's commitment to instructional leadership as a lever toward delivering on the SFUSD Graduate Profile
- Strong analytics and systems thinking necessary to interpret data to inform goals and strategy, as well as build infrastructure where none exists
- Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and roles within a complex organization
- A proven record of effectively planning, organizing and using resources to take action and achieve goals
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- A flexible, "can do" work ethic with a focus on identifying challenges and proactively working to find solutions while maintaining a bigger picture lens and focus on what can be delivered instead of what cannot be done
- Excellent data analysis skills and experience synthesizing data to drive action steps

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and GSuite (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms)
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Valid California Administrative Services Credential or eligibility for a California Administrative Services Credential.
- 1 year of administrative experience as a Central Office Administrator or Site Leader
