Job description

  • The client is seeking a highly skilled API Integration Technical Solutions Support Engineer to join their team and support the migration from the Content API for Shopping to the Merchant API.
  • This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication, and project management skills to drive successful partner integrations and enhance client satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Development, Product, and Partner Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure seamless partner transitions.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with Business Development teams:
  • Provide high touch technical support with strategic clients to facilitate the migration from the Content API for Shopping to the Merchant API.
  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of Partners with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Design support solutions to complex customer challenges and recognize patterns that can be reused by other Partners.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, educate partners and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Communicate pre-migration assessment, flag detected errors and migration-related issues.
  • Work with Business Development, Product Managers and Partner Operations Managers to upgrade top clients' integration and make tools requests required to improve processes and performance.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in a technical, partner-facing role with a strong customer focus.
  • Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Deep expertise with RESTful APIs, including integration, troubleshooting, and debugging. Coding skills required.
  • Experience with Shopping APIs is a huge plus!
  • Proficiency in SQL for managing and analyzing data.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in managing complex technical migrations.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Language: Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese & Japanese is appreciated.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
