Job description
- Develop and maintain HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) models for EV systems including motors, inverters, driveline, and braking systems
- Design and execute automated test cases for torque delivery, regenerative braking, traction control, and fault scenarios
- Perform fault injection testing (sensor, actuator, network, thermal faults)
- Validate diagnostics (UDS, DIDs, DTCs, service routines)
- Ensure system safety behavior aligned with ISO 26262 concepts
- Develop automation scripts using Python and CAPL
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Analyze test failures and generate defect reports with logs (MDF, BLF)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (controls, systems, diagnostics, safety)
- Maintain HIL infrastructure including rigs, I/O mapping, and restbus simulation
- Support traceability from requirements to test results
Requirements
- Experience in HIL testing for EV, HEV, or automotive systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related)
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with HIL platforms (dSPACE, NI, ETAS)
- Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape)
- Programming experience in Python
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet protocols
- Understanding of diagnostics (UDS) and fault management
- Exposure to functional safety (ISO 26262)
