Job description
- Verify design and engineering changes implemented shipboard to ensure that the changes are accomplished\n
- Interface with SSBA Quality department to illustrate incomplete changes prior to Navy acceptance of the compartment\n
- Evaluate engineering and design changes for accuracy and hull/ship applicability\n
- Reporting findings to PMS 400D and SOSB\n
- Support SOSB in development of Trial Cards for incomplete or incorrect execution of change\n
Requirements
-
High School diploma and/or, 2 years of experience in ship design/building, configuration management, acquisition, operation, lifecycle sustainment\n

Basic understanding of ship design drawings\n

Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills are all required skills\n

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite\n

U.S Citizenship required and ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance\n

Able to walk ships during the construction period for 4-8 hours per day\n, n \n

Broad Knowledge of Ship Construction Process or Broad Knowledge of Trades\n
