Data Center Custodian / Janitorial Technician

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial, Critical Environment Technician (CET) who is ready to grow beyond traditional cleaning roles and work in a highly specialized data center environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the entire facility, including offices, data halls, server rooms, conference rooms, common areas, and restrooms., * Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas

• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming (HEPA), and operating floor scrubbers
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock soap, paper products, and supplies
• Remove trash, clean receptacles, and transport waste to designated areas
• Dust and clean surfaces including desks, walls, windows, stairwells, and equipment surfaces
• Restock custodial, kitchen, and operational supplies; report inventory needs
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
• Perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing and high dusting
• Maintain exterior entry areas and ensure overall facility cleanliness

Schedule

• Shift: 5:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• Days: Thursday through Monday
• One-hour unpaid lunch break
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Do you have experience in Mobile devices?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Required:

• 2-4 years of janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling procedures
• Familiarity with CDC disinfecting guidelines and OSHA standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Basic comfort using smartphones or mobile apps for timekeeping

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach regularly
• Lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 40 lbs
• Work on ladders up to 6 feet
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift, * Are you able to work the scheduled shift of Thursday-Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.?
• Are you able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties such as bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods?
• Are you comfortable using a smartphone or mobile app for timekeeping and communication?

Experience:

• Janitorial or custodial : 3 years (Required)
• commercial cleaning equipment: 3 years (Preferred)
