Job description
A client in San Diego is looking for a Systems Administrator/Network Engineer to manage their existing server and network environment. We are looking for someone with experience managing/maintaining/upgrading multiple types of servers, Active Directory, VPNs, and networking equipment at the protocol level. Must be familiar with CMMC controls and certifications, and willing to be on site 80% of the time or more. Clearance can be lapsed as long as it's eligible to be reinstated at the Secret level or higher, and IAT 2 cert not required to start, but must complete within first 30 days of starting work.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience as a Systems Administrator in a secure environment
- Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, Linux Servers, and Ubuntu Servers
- Experience configuring and installing various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, SSH), VPNs and Firewalls
- Experience supporting Windows Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and O365
- Understanding of/experience with CMMC level 2 controls and certifications
- Clearance eligibility, if not already active, Secret level or higher
- Must obtain IAT 2 cert within 30 days of starting, if not already in hand
