Job description

The AI Digital Experience Developer will own the full lifecycle of customer-facing AI experiences - from development through automated deployment to performance analytics. This role directly accelerates the velocity at which the CoE delivers revenue-impacting digital experiences across all of the clients brands., *Design, build, and maintain interactive digital experiences - product recommendation quizzes, conversational assistants, intelligent search interfaces - across all SSB DTC brands

*Develop reusable component libraries and frameworks that enable rapid multi-brand deployment

*Integrate AI/ML models into customer-facing experiences - recommendation engines, natural language processing, personalization logic

*Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery cycles

*Ensure all experiences meet performance, accessibility, and responsive design standards across devices

Digital Platform Automation & Integration (30%)

*Automate page provisioning, content deployment, and experience publishing through platform APIs (AEM, Shopify)

*Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for digital experience deployment - reducing manual handoffs and accelerating time-to-live

*Create automated workflows for cross-brand content management and template synchronization

*Develop integration scripts and tools that connect AI experiences with the existing digital platform infrastructure

*Maintain deployment documentation and runbooks for repeatable, self-service experience launches

Digital Analytics & Performance (30%)

*Instrument all digital experiences with conversion tracking, engagement metrics, and revenue attribution (AOV, conversion rate, funnel progression)

*Build and maintain analytics dashboards that provide real-time visibility into experience performance across brands

*Implement A/B testing frameworks to optimize experience variants and recommendation algorithms

*Analyze user behavior data to inform experience improvements and identify new AI-powered optimization opportunities

*Connect analytics insights to business outcomes - translating click patterns into revenue impact for stakeholder reporting

JavaScript / TypeScript- Expert, Primary language for all customer-facing digital experiences and interactive components

Requirements

AI-Powered Experience Development (40%), Framework for building performant, SEO-friendly DTC experiences across all SSB brands Python Intermediate+ AI/ML integration, data processing scripts, automation tooling

CMS & Platform APIs- Strong

AEM APIs, Shopify APIs, headless CMS patterns - automating content deployment and page provisioning Analytics & Instrumentation Strong Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, custom event tracking - measuring experience performance and revenue impact

Cloud Services (Azure)- Intermediate

Client runs on Azure - hosting, serverless functions, CDN, CI/CD pipelines AI/ML Integration Intermediate Consuming AI model endpoints, prompt engineering, embedding recommendation logic into UX

CI/CD & DevOps- Strong

Automated deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, infrastructure-as-code for digital experiences Experience building e-commerce or DTC digital experiences with measurable conversion impact

*Background with headless CMS architectures and composable web patterns

*Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)

*Experience with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, or similar)

*Knowledge of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization for consumer-facing sites

*Experience working within or alongside an AI Center of Excellence or digital innovation team

Benefits & conditions

$45/hr to $55/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
