Job description
- The API Test Lead will be responsible for managing and executing regression testing for NICE Nexidia, Alvaria Real Time Optimizer, and Verint Workforce Engagement.
- This role requires a strong focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of APIs through comprehensive testing strategies.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of regression testing methodologies and will lead a team of testers to deliver high-quality software solutions., * Lead the regression testing efforts for NICE Nexidia, Alvaria Real Time Optimizer, and Verint Workforce Engagement.
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for API testing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery of testing results.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices for regression testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality.
- Document and maintain testing artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API testing and regression testing.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in regression testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with NICE Nexidia, Alvaria Real Time Optimizer, and Verint Workforce Engagement.
- Experience with automation testing tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience in performance testing and load testing., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
