Job description
Geauga County is seeking a motivated Network Administrator to join the Geauga County Automatic Data Processing Board. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the County's network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, and wireless network environments. The Network Administrator ensures reliable connectivity, monitors network performance, installs and maintains network hardware, and supports the secure operation of County and Township network systems.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, wireless networking, access control lists, and firewall policies. Responsibilities include maintaining network connectivity, installing and replacing network hardware, monitoring and reporting on network performance, performing surveillance of County and Township IP systems, and mentoring entry-level technicians., Completion of a two-year associate degree or undergraduate degree; four (4) or more years of related work experience and/or training; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
