Job description
The Data and Analytics Manager is responsible for defining and guiding the analytics strategy and roadmap execution. This role will build the development of AI and advanced analytics capabilities, helping the organization transition from descriptive reporting to predictive and insight-driven decision-making. This role will lead to the development of a multi-year analytics roadmap and priorities while building stakeholder alignment across the organization. The position requires technical skills in BI platforms, data modeling, and ETL/ELT, along with business acumen and the ability to align stakeholders, establish standards, and manage cross-functional delivery.
What You'll Do:
. Infor Birst & M3 Analytics Reporting
- Manage the strategy, design, development, and lifecycle management of dashboards and reports in Infor Birst and M3 Analytics aligned to enterprise KPIs and decision workflows.
- Support performance optimization, usability improvements, and adoption of reporting assets through disciplined product management practices and user feedback loops.
- Modernize and rationalize legacy reporting by consolidating redundant assets, defining standard metrics, and establishing enterprise reporting patterns across business areas.
- Establish and enforce quality controls to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and traceability across BI solutions (definitions, lineage, and reconciliation).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize backlogs and plan releases that advance the analytics strategy and deliver measurable business value.
Data Modeling & ETL
- Define and evolve the target-state analytics architecture, including a secure Data Lake built on Infor, Microsoft Fabric, or related platforms, integrating data from Infor and third-party applications to enable trusted, cross-functional analytics.
- Set standards for semantic models and dimensional data modeling to support scalable, reusable reporting and self-service analytics.
- Develop the development of an enterprise-wide strategy for historical and future reporting, including data models, pipelines, master data considerations, and governance standards.
- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and publish data from Infor and third-party systems into analytics platforms with clear SLAs and monitoring.
- Own operational excellence for data pipelines by monitoring reliability, data quality, cost/performance, and coordinating incident response and root-cause remediation.
AI & Advanced Analytics
- Identify, evaluate, and pilot AI-driven analytics capabilities (e.g., predictive modeling, anomaly detection) and define pathways to production based on business impact and risk.
- Assess and adopt emerging AI features in BI tools (e.g., Power BI Copilot, Infor AI capabilities) to improve automation, insight generation, and governed self-service at scale.
- Leverage generative AI to accelerate report development and documentation while ensuring appropriate controls, validation, and user enablement.
Business Requirements Gathering
- Conduct stakeholder discoveries to define business outcomes, KPIs, and reporting requirements; translating needs into clear product/technical specifications and delivery plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on BI and analytics best practices, including metric definition, visualization standards, and self-service enablement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and business leaders to support a self-service analytics operating model that delivers actionable insights and measurable business outcomes.
- Provide analytics leadership for ERP integration initiatives related to Infor M3, ensuring data readiness, harmonized definitions, and sustainable reporting solutions.
Continuous Improvement
- Continuously evaluate BI trends, AI capabilities, and cloud-based analytics to inform the analytics strategy and multi-year capability roadmap.
- Recommend and oversee implementation of improvements that enhance reliability, governance, and user experience across reporting and analytics products.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles with demonstrated ownership of analytics strategy and cross-functional delivery.
- Deep experience with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Infor Birst) including semantic modeling, governance, and enterprise-scale deployment.
- Experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and data warehouses/lakes, with a focus on standardization, reusability, and data quality.
- Experience working on analytics integration with ERP systems (Infor M3) and translating operational processes into scalable reporting and KPI frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred
- Certifications (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, AWS, Azure) a plus

Salary Range:
Starting Salary Range: $149,900-$180,700. The pay range listed represents the target hiring range for this position; however, the actual base pay offered to the selected candidate and fit for the posted role will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, relevant experience, geographical location and internal equity. Future compensation decisions for employees in this role will utilize the full pay range, not solely the typical hiring range.
