Job description

This is a hands-on role supporting manufacturing operations and is based onsite at our Cambridge, MA facility to enable close collaboration with production teams. In this role, you will partner with manufacturing engineers and production teams to translate manual processes and Excel-based tracking into automated FactoryLogix MES workflows and dashboards, improving visibility, traceability, and operational efficiency across our manufacturing environment., * Design and implement MES solutions aligned with manufacturing and business requirements

  • Define system interfaces, data flows, and integration between MES, ERP, and other enterprise systems
  • Develop technical specifications, system architectures, and implement roadmaps
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of MES solutions

Implementation & Integration

  • Lead MES implementation efforts from concept through deployment
  • Configure and customize the FactoryLogix MES platform to support manufacturing operations
  • Integrate MES with ERP, shop-floor equipment, and supporting enterprise systems
  • Troubleshoot system logic, workflows, and data integrations to maintain operational accuracy

Manufacturing Operations Support

  • Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and identify automation and optimization opportunities
  • Implement MES solutions for production tracking, quality management, and inventory visibility
  • Develop real-time dashboards and reporting tools to support production and leadership decision-making
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production Leadership
  • Provide technical guidance to system administrators and development teams supporting MES
  • Establish best practices for MES development, configuration, documentation, and maintenance

Requirements

Do you have experience in Manufacturing facility?, * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, * 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing systems, industrial automation, or digital manufacturing initiatives

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing or configuring MES platforms in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with FactoryLogix MES or comparable MES platforms
  • Strong understanding of defense or regulated manufacturing environments and shop floor operations
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL Server)
