Job description

Provides primary support for the company's Local and Wide-area networks, including hardware and software associated with networking and network security.

Monitor and maintain network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware as it pertains to required rules and regulations for electronic data security.

Maintain documentation of the IT infrastructure including, but not limited to, network nodes, licensing, TCP/IP addresses, vendor service requests, and any other information.

Responsible for maintaining a secure environment, compliant with all required rules and regulations as it pertains to electronic data security.

Serve as a contact for network related issues. Analyzing issues, recommending solutions, and initiating corrective actions. Log the information in the incident tracking system.

Serve as a technical resource to various project teams; serve as a liaison, when necessary, between users, the organization, and vendors.

Assist in the development and implementation of the DR plan to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster or other disruption to the day-to-day business.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.

(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Previous information technology experience including Network Communication, Information Security, and WAN connectivity.

Knowledge of TCP/IP routing and configuration and Windows Networking required.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute assigned tasks.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical planning and project management.

Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other Information Technology professionals as well as non-technical staff.

Ability to work and travel independently, provide training, and make presentations.
Preferred Qualifications

Financial institution experience preferred

Experience working with multiple offsite locations preferred

Knowledge of BGP, ZTNA, and Fortinet firewalls and switches is highly desirable.
