Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Pravis team as a Help Desk Technician. In this role you will be given a rare look into the wide array of exciting technologies used by our clients. No prior help desk experience is required! All we ask is that you have a life-long passion for technology and exceptional customer service skills.

As a member of our team, you will be gaining priceless experience across the IT industries most prevalent technologies, experience that will move your IT career forward at light-speed. Our team of friendly, video game addicted, twitch-watching, technicians will patiently guide you through the ins-and-outs of supporting our clients.

Listed below are a few of the essential functions of your job. Additional responsibilities may be added to this role as necessary.

  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting
  • Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Record technical issues and solutions in logs
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests
  • Help create technical documentation and manuals
  • Utilize exceptional Customer Service skills.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical support via phone?, * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot over the phone.

· Customer-oriented attitude.

· Desire to learn new technologies and how to troubleshoot common user issues.

Additional Requirements

  • Perform some repetitive motion activities.
  • Sit for long periods of time at a desk.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Travel may be required.
  • May be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
