Associate Data Scientist (JOB ID 003020)

Innovien is supporting a large-scale AI and data modernization effort in the healthcare space. We're hiring an Associate Data Scientist / AI Engineer to own the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and generative AI solutions across clinical and operational workflows - end-to-end, from ambiguous problem statement to production system.

What You'll Do

• Translate loosely defined business requests into architected, end-to-end AI and data science solutions across structured and unstructured data
• Build and deploy generative AI applications - LLM-powered chatbots, NLP pipelines, and patient journey models - on Azure, Azure OpenAI Service, and Microsoft Fabric
• Own the full ML model lifecycle: feature engineering, training, API integration, deployment, and monitoring
• Partner directly with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to scope projects, define success criteria, and lead discovery when the problem isn't yet defined
• Communicate findings and project narratives clearly to both technical teams and executive audiences

Do you have experience in System deployment?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field

• 2-4 years of hands-on, end-to-end data science experience across structured and unstructured data (text, audio, documents)
• Advanced Python proficiency including building and consuming APIs to integrate models into operational systems
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure for data engineering, model training, and MLOps
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying generative AI solutions - LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, or Azure OpenAI Service - in a production or near-production context

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare, clinical operations, or a similarly regulated environment
• Working knowledge of EHR data, claims data, or patient-facing systems
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
